The Stag Bar

The Stag Bar, the premier music nightclub in Woodland, CA is actively seeking musicians for openings on Saturday nights. Open mic nights are held on the first and third Friday nights of the month. Sets run approx. 45 minutes. A local draw is not necessary to be booked, but is preferable. Artists will be contacted at least two months prior to the available dates. There is limited backline at the venue – a sound system, including vocal mics, monitors and a sound person is available. They will give you contact information of bands playing with you if you'd like to try to arrange sharing gear./n/nThe Stag Bar, the premier music nightclub in Woodland, CA is actively seeking musicians for openings on Saturday nights. They are looking for local, regional, national artists and welcome inquiries from touring musicians. They book 2-4 acts per show with sets that run approx. 45 minutes. A local draw is not necessary to be booked, but is preferable. Promotion duties are shared by the venue and performers.



Artists will be contacted at least two months prior to the available dates. There is limited backline at the venue – a sound system, including vocal mics, monitors and a sound person is available. Genres accepted include: Rock, Alt. Rock, Acoustic Rock, Pop, Blues, Alt. Country and Reggae.



Past performers include: The Hard Way, The Infamous Swanks, The Capp Street Girls, The Real Nasty, The Secretions, Son Locuaz, Whiskey & Stitches, Stout Rebellion, The Pikeys, The West Coast Villains, The Dry-County Drinkers, Der Spazm, and many more.



Compensation will be determined on an individual basis prior to booking.



(Uncompensated Open Mic Nights are held on the first and third Friday nights of the month at 7pm)
