PLAY: The Stanhope House (NJ)

The Stanhope House is a historic New Jersey concert venue housing live performances by popular national artists, up-and-coming local bands, and comedians.  We're currently looking for Sonicbids artists to join us!

Availability and open slots change consistently, apply to play and we'll find out a day and time that works best for everyone!

If walls could talk, the old walls of The Stanhope House would have some unbelievable stories to tell. Built in the 1790's, we take great pride in keeping the building as original as possible. From the wood floors to the original tin ceiling, and everything in between, the building is a time capsule of musical history. 

The club was the stomping grounds and post-show hangout of a massive array of beloved blues legends. This is a great opportunity for emerging acts to open up for regional and nationally touring acts. We're specifically looking for acts based out of New Jersey. 

• We're currently looking for bands to fill slots every week
• Looking for blues, rock, jazz, folk, reggae, comedy, pop, hip-hop, ska, hardcore, dance acts

  Bands must be actively playing shows 

• Acts must have a solid online presence 

• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

• Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

• Past acts include Muddy Waters, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Buddy Guy, Paul Butterfield, and John Lee Hooker had all once stood. We continue making history today as John Mayall, James Cotton, Joan Osborne, Rusted Root, The Original Wailers, Rakim, Mobb Deep, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Fishbone just to name a few...

• Ticket commission based on draw
• Select shows will be a guarantee
