The Steamtown Original Music Showcase

The Steamtown Original Music Showcase has become the biggest original music event in all of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Now in its third year, the showcase has grown into a two day event in downtown Scranton, PA. The showcase will feature 9 venues and will host over 1,700 music lovers, talent buyers, and local media. The Steamtown Original Music Showcase will be held on August 30 - 31, 2008.



This year the showcase will features special guest speakers and clinics at The Hilton Hotel and Conference Center featuring Freddie Fabri (Tour Manager of Breaking Benjamin and A&R of Dreamakers mp3), Ariel Hyatt (CEO of Ariel Publicity), Ben Lazar (former A&R of Island Def Jam and former music director for CMJ Music Marathon), Jeff Peters (World renown live and studio engineer for Brian Setzer, Beach Boys, etc.), and many more to be announced!

The Steamtown Original Music Showcase is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for general performance consideration. There are 10 performance slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. This is a great chance for artists to perform at a popular event in northeast Pennsylvania.
