The Steamtown Original Music Showcase

The Steamtown Original Music Showcase is back better than ever and returns to its roots as a single day event on September 6, 2009! The goal is to hold a musical event for the community that raises music awareness and acknowledgment of local, regional, and national talent. The showcase will be selecting at least 10 Sonicbids members.



This year the showcase will bring a wide variety of cultural and musical influence to the Northeastern Pennsylvania area. Compensation for certain amenities and expenditures will be applied if selected. The event, now going on its fourth year, is offering more to music lovers and business owners than ever before all contained right in the downtown area of Scranton, PA.



The following venues have been confirmed for the Steamtown Original Music Showcase:

• Blues Street
  
• The Colosseum
  

Performers will be brought into the area from a variety of states and will also be supported by a massive amount of local talent. Passes for clinics and panels will be provided to all who submit.

The showcase will feature a majority of talent buyers and promoters from a five state region on the hunt for new talent to bring into their markets along with club owners hunting for talent for the N.E.P.A. region.
