Summary

The Grove Cafe is a Christian coffeehouse in Oneida, New York that is open on the third Friday of each month. They have been open since July, 2007. The T.I.N. Fest is a new event both for the venue and the area.

The T.I.N. Fest will be held June 21, 2008 from 11am to 5pm. A variety of Holy Hip-Hop artists are performing along with ministers and other activities that are being planned.

This event will be a fundraiser for Teen Programs with Liberty Resources such as TASA (The Teenage Services Act), STOP (Stop Teen Pregnancy) and RHY (Runaway and Homeless Youth Program).

The idea is to inform teens about the various programs that are available to them, the fact that Christian music is more than church hymns, and that God is waiting to help; all they have to do is ask. No official sponsors have been acquired as of yet, but there will be a few.

Compensation will not be guaranteed as the Grove Cafe operates on donations alone. It is possible that a small amount could be given to help with travel expenses.

All artists in the genre of holy hip-hop and ministers with messages for teens are encouraged to submit their information. If you are not chosen to perform at this event, you may be chosen to perform at the coffeehouse at a later date. Be sure to ask any questions you may have before agreeing to perform.
