The Vortex is the primary destination to find emerging Hip Hop and Hardcore bands in the Ohio Area. Known for an amazing sound system, cheap drinks, great bands, and crowds, this is a venue that has helped launch the career of many artists in the Ohio area. The Vortex is looking for Sonicbids artists this summer/fall.

Voted as one of the BEST Live Music Venue in Northeast Ohio, This is the perfect venue to play live shows and organically build your fan base.

 This is an ongoing opportunity to apply, and we'll find the best date for your band. This is a consistent availability for The Vortex. Apply to play on any date listed and we'll send you the availabilities that we have that we think fit your band.

• Open to bands of all ages
• Only looking for bands who can draw a crowd of 10-15+ people

  Bands must be actively playing shows 

• Acts must have a solid online presence 

• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

• Bands are able to sell merch on-site

• Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

• Looking for local bands able/willing to sell a minimum of ten (10) $8 tickets with a $4/$4 split between the venue and the band on presale tickets sold
• Basic Backline Provided
• More Avails to play future shows
