PLAY: The VYNL (NYC) Fall/Winter

The VYNL is a Plush, multiroom nightclub with a retro theme, plus a coffee bar & record shop at the entrance. We're a 1970s inspired Nightlife destination in East Village, Manhattan. It is a unique place to experience an era of cocktails, fine cuisine, and rock n roll. This one of a kind venue is currently booking Sonicbids artists for the fall/winter season. 

Located in the heart of the East Village our new 7,000 square ft space hosts 3 floors of the best music, drink & food the city has to offer. Oh, and why The VINYL? As you walk in off 3rd Avenue you'll find a fully stocked record store and our own VNYL Coffee Co. running all day long. We pay homage to the good old days of when people play their music loud and when we used to listen to full albums on vinyl. We're looking for bands that can draw a crowd and fit the vibe of our retro-chic, 1970s throwback venue. 

• We're looking for Rock, Jazz, Funk, Folk, Acoustic, Psychedelic, Blues and Soul acts, but we're open to other genres if it fits the vibe
• Bands must be able to promote the show on social media and draw a crowd 
• 21+ 
• Local, regional and nationally touring acts are welcome to apply

• Bands must be actively playing shows 

• Bands are able to sell merch on-site
  
  

• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
  

• Acts must have a solid online presence 
  
  

The venue boasts stage risers and a drum kit. Currently bands will need to bring their own equipment, however, we will be able to provide backline in the near future. 

Set Length typically run 45 min - 1 hour

Our venue is 4 stories and has a capacity of 600+
