Summary
The Walnut Room is a Chicago-style pizzeria and music venue and has been rocking Denver since January 2005. Since opening The Walnut Room quickly become the main destination in Denver to discover new music.
Our intimate concert venue has become a second home for the best local entertainment, as well as some of the hottest national touring acts coming through Colorado. We're currently looking for Sonicbids artists to add to our winter calendar.
The Opportunity
Homegrown presents are giving artists a great opportunity for local, regional up and coming acts to get more visibility in CO. Our intimate concert venue has become a second home for the best local entertainment, as well as some of the hottest national touring acts, including Iron & Wine, Jeff Austin & Brendan Bayliss, The Legendary Pink Dots, John Lee Hooker Jr., Albert Lee, Ingrid Michaelson, The Flobots, Junior Brown, Jolie Holland, Jewel, Chris Isaak & The Fray.
The Band
- Our sole mission at Walnut Room is to book quality music!
- We're looking for Americana, Folk acts and Songwriters. We're open to other genres if it fits into the billing
- Bands must be actively playing shows
- Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
- All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
- Artists that apply need to be able to bring a fan base to the gigs
The Gig
- Payment is determined upon booking
- shows are door splits %
- We're looking to book acts 4-5 nights out of the week
- PA is provided
- Acts must provide backline
- Bands are able to sell merch on-site
- Capacity 80 (50 to 70 seated capacity)
- Booking Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat

Mains: EAW AX366 tops, FR250z (4) subs, all QSC power
Monitors: 6 discreet mixes, 8 Yamaha SM15 boxes, accompanies 2231 graphic EQ, QSC power
Outboard: 4 channels dbx 31 band EQ, 12 channels dbx compression, 6 channels of gates, Yamaha Rev 500, TC Electronics D-Two
DI’s: Countrymen, Pro-Co., Radial (6 total)
Mics: Shure, Sennhieser, Audio Technica. (all cables and stands included)
