Word On The Street (WOTS) is a trusted source for entertainment and groundbreaking news frequented by individuals who want to keep abreast of the latest entertainment buzz to on-air radio/television personalities looking for a hot scoop to celebrities and label affiliates themselves; all of whom who look closely at the musical recommendations that Word On The Street makes.

WOTS is an entertainment e-zine covering everything from music to movies to current events. Yet, WOTS founder and chief editor, Shelia Chadwick’s true love is music. She is excited about expanding the e-zine’s music section to include reviews of up-and-coming rap, hip-hop and R&B artists. “Every great performer started off as raw, unsigned talent. With the right grooming and exposure, each act has the potential to be tomorrow’s leaders in the music industry. Word on the Street hopes to be an integral part of discovering that talent.”

The primary readership is male and females between the ages of 21 and 50. Submitting artists are being considered for a review and/or spotlight consideration. This is a chance to gain more exposure and ground alongside some of the most respected professionals and seasoned artists. This opportunity is for unsigned artists only!

Sheila Chadwick the owner and editor in chief, has served as a freelance journalist, writing on urban affairs, and she has contributed to various publications in print as well as online. Some credits include Crystal Magazine, Mahogany Magazine and liner notes for the Midnight Soul compilation released on the Right Stuff Records label in January 2004.
