Summary

Thirsty Melon presents the 4th Annual Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Music Festival & Conference in Louisville, KY on June 24-26th. This year’s 3-day event will showcase 200 artists from a variety of music genres on 10 stages over 2 days to over 35,000 fans throughout the Six Flags theme park. There will be 100 slots reserved for Sonicbids applicants. In addition, Thirsty Melon will host DIY Music Industry Seminars in the park to start off your day, featuring a broad section of music industry professionals and topics. There will also be peoples’ choice awards and giveaways just for the artists. And don’t forget, you have an entire theme park full of great rides and attractions at your fingertips.



The opening day of the conference on June 24 will feature a keynote speaker followed by industry panels and will cap off with a music industry networking party cruise on Louisville’s historic Belle of Louisville paddle wheel boat. This event provides the most fun along with the best value you can get from a showcase this year, by providing artists with multiple networking opportunities with industry professionals, DIY Seminars, great music, and exciting events all at one of America’s best theme parks, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom.



Past event performers include Days of The New, Tantric, Outspoken, Digby and Peter Searcy. All genres are accepted.



Please note: Artists that are chosen to participate in the festival will be required to pay a festival showcase fee of $50 per band/group or $25 per solo/duo act within 30 days of showcase acceptance. All showcase fees must be received no later than May 15, 2005 for artist to participate in festival. Artists chosen to participate in the festival will receive a package valued at over $139 per artist (all group members will receive a package), which will include:

Automatic registration for festival giveaways
