Thru The Din Production/Mixing Contest

Thru The Din Productions is looking for an outstanding band or artist to get involved with. We have worked with some of the biggest artists and on some of the best selling records of all time. The winner of the contest will have three songs mixed by Dug McGuirk (this will include studio costs). The selected artist will need to provide multi-track masters for mixing. The winner will also get a Showcase in front of A&R reps from major labels. Also included will be an promotional package produced by Abe Roofeh of Crowned Kings Productions. Video footage must be provided and the winner will be guided on what footage is needed and how to make the EPK best represent the energy of the band/artist.



The voting process will be based on song quality, performance and overall passion by Dug McGuirk, Russ DeSalvo and Ed Grauer. Dug, a seasoned veteran working in the industry for more than 15 years, has real experience on both sides of the studio glass, establishing his own company Thru The Din Productions along the way. Songwriter/Producer Russ DeSalvo has signed with Paul McCartney's publishing company and joins a growing staff of new writers and has added his own brand of hit songs to a tremendous library of contemporary music. Russ DeSalvo is an all-around musical talent -- writing, producing and arranging memorable, chart-topping tracks for such notable artists as Marc Anthony, Celine Dion, Trisha Yearwood, Maya and Bebe Winans to name just a few. Ed Grauer- entertainment attorney extraordinaire, has his own practice after spending several years at Greenberg and Traurig.



Genres accepted includeRock, Alternative, Prog, Metal, Emo, Screamo, Edgy Pop and anything Band oriented or Solo artist that has/wants a big sound.
