2006 Timberman Triathlon Festival Compilation CD

TIMBERMAN TRIATHLON FESTIVAL is a 3-day triathlon festival featuring more than 2200 athletes and 5000 spectators. The event will take place at Gunstock Recreation Area in Gilford, New Hampshire beginning with a party at TimberFEST, Expo and Carbo Load Gala on Friday August 18 and Saturday August 19. The weekend long Festival will kick off Friday evening with a special Triathlon Champions Dinner featuring some of the top triathletes in the world – and TimberFEST will continue on Saturday at Gunstock.



This year, we will be working with Sonicbids to distribute a special Timberman Triathlon Festival Race CD to athletes and race volunteers. The compilation will be professionally mastered, designed and replicated. 25 songs will be selected from all submissions as finalists and then voted on by athletes, volunteers, community members, fans, etc. (and you will be able to promote online voting to your fan base). The top 15 tracks will be included on the CD – and some selected artists may be invited to perform at the event!



We accept any upbeat genre that will inspire athletes in the middle of this long endurance event, celebrating a successful finish – or even training for Timberman in 2007. Genres accept include: classic rock, rock, alternative, pop, blues, etc. – really anything an athlete might want to hear to keep them going. Please do not submit tracks with explicit lyrics.



The event has a great media presence, with national magazines, live TV, taped television and newspaper coverage. Event sponsors include Aegis Bicycles, Audi, Laconia Athletic and Swim Club, Gatorade, Fuel Belt, Metrocast Cablevision, Rutter Media, Carb-BOOM, Eastern Mountain Sports, Xterra Wetsuits, New Balance Shoes, Clif Bar and Zoot Clothing.
