Tinderbox Music Electronic Music Department (Jun-Sep '13)

Tinderbox Music is a boutique promotions company based out of Minneapolis that has been promoting bands to college radio nation-wide for over a decade. In the summer of 2013, Tinderbox started a dedicated electronic music division. Since the creation of its dedicated hip hop division in 2011, every artist Tinderbox has launched has charted in the CMJ Hip Hop Top 40. They are looking to expand their roster and offer their services to Sonicbids underground electronic artists.

Tinderbox also places its radio clients in music licensing opportunities. Tinderbox has been able to place hundreds of pieces of music into television shows on MTV, TNT, VH1, E!, Oxygen, ABC, Discovery and FOX Sports. They additionally connect acts with booking agents and college booking representation.

Tinderbox Music has worked with bands such as: Rhymefest, Margot and the Nuclear So and So's, Ingrid Michaelson, Camper Van Beethoven, Grieves (of Rhymesayers), Cecil Otter (of Doomtree) Mike Mictlan and Lazerbeak (of Doomtree) among many others.
