The Tofino Folk Festival is happening Oct 2-4, 2020 and we're looking for Sonicbids artists to join the lineup. 

The Opportunity

Tofino Folk Festival is a community-based celebration of live music.  This 2020, the festival happens on October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.   Live music will be hosted at multiple venues throughout Tofino.  The festival’s headquarters is The Maq Hotel and Pub, located in the heart of Tofino.

This is your chance to connect with other musicians in a supportive community, grow your local fanbase and perform in one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the country.  Past headliners include Jesse Roper, and Jon and Roy.

The Band

  • Primarily looking for Folk music (of all varieties) but open to Americana, Roots, World, Spoken Word/Poetry, Singer-Songwriter, Acoustic
  • Solo Acts and Bands Welcome to Apply
  • Bands must be willing to promote the show if selected 
  • Artists must have an online presence 

The Gig

  • October 2-4, 2020
  • PA system provided, bands need to bring their own gear (to be confirmed at time of booking)
  • Bands can sell merch onsite and keep 100% of proceeds 

Compensation

  • Compensation Amount: Determined at time of booking
