Summary
Toronto Exclusive Magazine presents the Second Annual Toronto Exclusive Magazine Awards. T.E.M. is a promoter of events focusing on the independent music and fashion industry. They welcome artists from all over the world to be nominated and gain recognition and industry respect for their work and talent.
Their unique Magazine Awards (online) is internet based. When each artist submits, they will be critiqued, judged and eligible for nomination. Nominees will be contacted immediately upon nomination.
Award winners from Toronto will be handed awards certificates at a Recognition & Industry Night presentation in October 2008 held in Toronto, Canada. Awards certificate winners from other Canadian cities and the International music community will receive their awards certificates by email free when they request it. You can also order the hard copy. Artist of the Year (overall) winner will get a spot on the front cover of Toronto Exclusive Magazine. Other prizes include magazine writeups, features and free advertising whether in the magazine or on the web site.
Submissions will be judged by the professional music staff at Toronto Exclusive Magazine and its music industry affiliates.
The Toronto Exclusive Magazine Awards has separate categories for each genre eligible, including adult contemporary, alternative, ambient, blues, country, christian, dance, folk, hip hop, jazz, rock, R&B, soul, reggae, reggaeton, Latin, pop, and world. Each music genre has awards for the following categories:
There are Toronto Awards, Provincial Awards (other Canadian cities), and International Awards (USA, UK, Italy, and more), as well as an overall Artist of the Year Award. Artists may be nominated for more than one category.
