Summary

The Continental Divide Trail is a US National Scenic Trail stretching nearly 3,100 miles from Mexico to Canada. The trail extends though five states including Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. The Continental Divide Trail Alliance (CDTA) is a nonprofit organization with nearly 3,000 members working to increase public involvement, volunteer commitment, and private sector support on the Continental Divide Trail.

Each year the CDTA hosts an outdoor festival called Trailfest. The festival features nearly 20 booths and clinics, a pancake breakfast, hiking, a catered dinner, and of course live music. This year, Trailfest will be held on July 19th at Mc Phelemy Park in Buena Vista, Colorado. The event always draws a great crowd of outdoorsmen and women to enjoy the trail and festival.

Continental Divide Trail Alliance is now accepting submission from Sonicbids artists for general performance consideration at Trailfest. They are looking for folk rock and blues artists to perform at the event. They have one main stage and are hoping to feature 6-7 bands at the event. Although compensation is not offered, they do provide food and drink tickets for performing artists. Each band will also be allotted free space for a merch booth which they are permitted to run all day. This is a great event for any artist to perform at a unique and intimate event in the heart of the beautiful continental Divide.
