Gospel Search of America 2008

TRAKO Entertainment presents the 3rd annual Gospel Search of America 2008, a national talent search and series of Music Industry Lead Seminars taking place October 10-11, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. Gospel Search of America (GSA) is designed for all genres of Christian music, and is a 2-day event in which some of most the prominent and influential music industry executives gather to educate, empower and discover new unsigned talent. This event will present Gospel music industry seminars, showcases, concerts, ministry, education and Christian empowerment. The GSA competition is looking for the best Christian, traditional gospel, Christian rap, urban gospel, inspirational, and contemporary gospel soloist and/or groups.



Registered artists must be unsigned, and original material is desired. Selected Semi-Finalists will be invited to perform with a pre-recorded track or acapella at the Convention Center - Black Academy of Arts & Letters in Dallas, Texas on Friday, October 10, 2008. The GSA 08 Finals, hosted by a nationally renowned gospel artist,on Saturday, October 11, 2008, will be the platform where the GSA Finalists will perform LIVE and a WINNER will be announced. The selected finalists will be allowed to perform for 10 minutes with a LIVE band at the GSA Finals Gospel Concert on Saturday night; October 11, 2008, music industry executives will be present.



The WINNER'S Package includes a substantial cash prize, a 12-city tour of the House of Blues Gospel Brunch, professional marketing services, a chance to be shopped to major and independent labels and many other major promotional opportunities.
