PLAY: Triad Theater (NYC) Fall

The Triad Theater, formerly known as Palsson's Supper Club, Steve McGraw's, and Stage 72, is a performing arts venue located on West 72nd Street on New York's Upper West Side.

 The Triad is One of New York City's best live venues since 1990.  Internationally known artists who have played our stage include Lenny Kravitz, Sean Lennon, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Dead's Bob Weir, George Benson, Blondie's Debbie Harry, Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Stiller and many more. We're currently looking for Sonicbids artists to join the roster and rock the house this fall.

Built in 1984, The theatre has been the original home to some of the longest running Off-Broadway shows including Forever Plaid, Forbidden Broadway, Boobs! With a dedicated local following, this has been a venue that has helped launch the careers of many artists. This is an ongoing opportunity to apply, and we'll find the best date for your band.  

This is an opportunity for local, regional and nationally touring artists. If you have an amazing sound and looking to gain a wider audience, this is the gig for you!

We're looking for bands of all genres that play original music. We're looking for Rock, Soul, Funk, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Chamber Music, Acoustic, Musical Theater, Cabaret, and Comedy.

Bands must be actively playing shows 

Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

Bands are able to sell merch on-site

All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

Acts must have a solid online presence 

The Triad has a house technical director who will run sound & lighting for your show and assist with stage set-up.
Tech fee is $100

Backline Equipment:
The venue has a complete backline of sound & video equipment including for your free usage:  Yamaha Baby Grand Piano Yamaha Tour Custom Drum Kit ( Drummer just needs to bring Cymbals ) 2 Guitar Amps and 1 Bass Amps, Mics, Music Stands, Stools etc.1080P Projector and Screen.  Seating Capacity120 seats  85 on the main floor  35 in the balcony   There is a backstage dressing room with a bathroom as well as a Green Room.  
For all 2-beverage minimum shows, the artist sets the ticket price and keeps 80% of sales. The only costs are to your Tech & BO managers. Please allow 1 week for checks to be issued and mailed to you. For additional revenue, please feel free to sale merchandise before your show
