The movie is centered in the independent music industry and features a rock band with a male lead vocalist and a young up and coming female singer-songwriter (piano or guitar). The project is scheduled to begin production in June of 2010. Please note that songwriters retain ownership over their materials. Licensing agreements will be negotiated on a per song basis. This opportunity can pay off in many ways, including massive exposure for unknown artists and royalties from ASCAP/BMI/SESAC.

Also, the bands and the female performers submitting music selections would have the opportunity to audition for the film if they are interested.

The production company is seeking music for three types of involvement. :

  • Background music for the film as a whole. Anything goes- they want a cool soundtrack).
  • Original songs to be used as the catalog for the Rock band in the film. The songs will be characters in the film Think "That Thing You Do" with Tom Hanks.

  • Original songs to be used as the catalog for the female singer in the film. See previous section for specific genre preferences.

This is the third film for Chris Fetchko Productions. Their first project "Everything’s Jake" was released by Warner Brothers in 2007 starring Ernie Hudson, Graeme Malcolm, Lou Rawls, Robin Givens and Debbie Allen. The second, “Eavesdrop”, will be released by Shoreline Entertainment in 2010 starring Chris Parnell, Christopher Lawford, and Ted McGinley. "Trust Me" is currently in the process of final negotiations with cast and will be announcing the cast in the coming months. Due to the nature of the music and how it is used in the film, they need to start the music search immediately.

The music is the key element that embodies the story of the film. The integrity and production quality of CFP productions is represented in their first two films.
