FEST: HoCo Fest (AZ)

Nested within the rising cultural hub and longtime artistic oasis of Tucson, Arizona, the historic Hotel Congress is proud to host the annual HOCO Fest as part of its 100 year celebration (founded 1919).

Happening September 4-6, 2020, HOCO Fest offers distinctive curation, combining tastemaking musical acts, Tucson's best venues and attractions, and the vibrant, inspiring spirit of the desert community. We're looking for Sonicbids artists to join the lineup! 

Taking over Downtown Tucson, AZ for Labor Day Weekend, the festival includes musical performances, DJ sets, panels and discussions, wellness workshops, experimental after parties, daytime pool parties, regional vendor flea market, art installations, food and beverage tastings, and of course, Sonoran Desert culture.

This is an opportunity for regional bands to build upon a local fanbase, connect with like-minded folks and be part of a forward-facing, progressive music scene.  

• Looking for a range of genres including Hip Hop, Rock, Country Rock, Indie Pop/Electronic, Funk, Soul, Afrobeat, and DJs that fit our vibe 
• Looking for Arizona bands only at this time 
• Artists should be actively playing shows and have a tight set
• We expect all artists to promote the event on their social platforms

• PA provided, bands should be prepared to bring equipment (to be discussed further at time of booking)
• Bands can sell merch onsite & keep 100% of proceeds
• Payment TBD at time of booking 
• We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment free from racism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, misogyny, agism, ablism, and classism. We expect the artists performing to embrace this ideal as well
