The University of Central Arkansas is located in Conway, AR and currently accepting submissions for performances during the 2008-2009 school year. The school hosts a mix of events, and is seeking both musical and comedy artists.

Performances take place throughout the year. Typically, 2 comedy acts are presented each semester, 2-3 smaller musical acts per semester, and 1-2 headlining acts per year. When the weather is warmer, acoustic and smaller acts (solo/duo/trio) perform in the outside courtyard. Country, alternative, pop, reggae, R&B, and singer/songwriter acts are welcome to submit.

In addition to the courtyard, shows are also presented in the Student Center Ballroom (capacity of 450), Reynolds Performance Hall (1200), and a large campus center (capacity 4500). The school will provide full sound system if needed. Artists are welcome to bring their own PA, but UCA will not provide a sound technician.

Artists will be compensated for their performances with negotiable amounts. Typically, local artists may range around $500, and regional/touring acts $1,000-$2,000. Previous performers include Michelle Branch, Jimmy Fallon, Puddle of Mud, D.L. Hughley, Train, John Heder, Taking Back Sunday, Dave Chappelle, Goo Goo Dolls and more!
