Summary

Each spring the UE3 team of industry veterans converges on the Austin Music Festival Scene. This year the UE3 team will release a Double CD that will feature artists currently on the UE3 Roster as well as extraordinary indie artists selected by submission review. The goal of the CD will be to to expose and help secure deals for the artists in the core area's of their companies expertise. They are reserving 36 slots for Sonicbids artists. 2 of the selected artists will have the regular $200 participation fee waived. If you are not one of the 2 selected artist, you are not obligated to participate./n/nEach spring the UE3 team of industry veterans converges on the Austin Music Festival Scene. This year the UE3 team is looking to find Indie artists on Sonicbids that are interested in being included in the release of a compilation CD. CD will be released in March 2012 just in time for all the major Austin Festivals. It will feature artists currently on the UE3 Roster as well as the Sonicbids artists they select. The goal of the CD will be to expose and help secure deals for the artists in the core area's of their companies expertise such as: brand partnerships, endorsements, licensing for film, television, video games, radio programming, management deals, publishing and label opportunity's.


Submissions will be exclusively through Sonicbids and they are reserving 36 slots for artists.

Selected artists receive:


  • 2 of the selected artists will have the regular $200 participation fee waived.

  • If you are not one of the 2 selected artist, you are not obligated to participate and pay the fee if you do not want to.

  • 1,000 CD's will be manufactured and distributed by their staff at SXSW to industry contacts via private meetings, showcases, and special events, including those that they are sponsoring or participating in.

In addition to the ever popular SXSW, many other events are now running city wide at the same time, and they cover them all. During this Mid March time frame the UE3 team will be meeting with Industry leaders, sponsors, agents, labels, publishers, managers, and promoters on behalf of the artists they represent. They do deals with companies like Gibson, ABC, Fox, Sony Pictures, Converse, Heineken Light, Taco Bell, Rockstar Energy Drink, Nestle, American Express, Bed Head, Lexus, MTV and Sennheiser to name just a few. They guarantee that selected artists will receive invaluable exposure to often otherwise impossible contacts for the average indie artist.

The UE3 team has or is currently working with Blue October, South Shores, Picture Me Broken, Static Cycle, Courrier, The Black Doves, The Kildares, and many other outstanding artists.


This compilation CD will be distributed as a promotional piece and not intended for re-sale.
