The University of Illinois at Springfield is one of the three campuses of the University of Illinois and has an enrollment of almost 7,000 undergraduate and graduate students. With several different performance opportunities on campus, UIS is looking for both local and national music and non music performers in a wide variety of genres:

  • Tunes at Noon - The Tunes at Noon series occurs every other week during the semester and features a mix of different genres. Held in the Student Center on campus, the program aims to provide noontime entertainment to students and staff. UIS is currently booking artists for this coming semester. The Tunes at Noon show has a limited budget and does not generally cover the cost of travel. For Tunes at noon, they are interested in local and regional artists, or artists already touring through the area. Compensation is generally under $500.

All selected artists will be compensated for their performance. Artists interested in performing at the University of Illinois at Springfield should submit and the Student Activities Council will determine where performers are best suited for an on campus show.
