Located in Vancouver, CA, they are primarily a hip hop label but are accepting artists from the genres of hip hop, rock, alternative, jazz, folk, indie, singer/songwriter, soul, R&B, pop, electronica, dance, house, club, and Latin. UIYB has guaranteed 5 roster slots for Sonicbids artists. Signed artists receive full digital distribution, radio tracking at over 500 university stations, mastering services for recordings, booking assistance, and promotion./n/nUIYB Records is seeking independent artists to sign to its label. Artists have no exclusive obligation after signing- UIYB will continue promoting and selling music even after an artist releases new material under another label or publisher.

Established in 2001, UIYB Records has been one of Vancouver’s primary independent hip hop labels releasing material from artists all over Canada and the US. The label has worked with artists such as Moka Only, Swollen Members, Lenny Diko, Aria Silenced, DJ Moves (formerly of pop group LEN), Karl Wolf, LuckyIam, PSC (living legends/California), and Live Manikins (California).
