Urban Music Fest & Awards 2009

The Urban Music Fest & Awards Fest will take place on Sunday, July 19th, 2009 and celebrate the grand opening of its new 15,000 sq ft entertainment facility, “The Kingdom”. The event is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, just 5 to 10 minutes from downtown.



Urban Music Fest is a one of a kind music festival acclaimed for its eclectic line-up and family-friendly vibe. The festival showcases the world’s finest top local, regional and national positive & inspirational artists. UMF also honors and awards local, regional & natioanl artists who have made a positive impact on there community. Many celebrities and sports figures will be in the house to celebrate and give their testimony of how positive and inspirational music has impacted their lives! UMF has quickly become one of the top independent music festivals in the in the Midwest. UMF will be hosted by Miss Shannon of B96.



Urban Music Fest is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for featured performance slots. This year's festival will bring enormous exposure to 10 Sonicbids artists selected for the compilation and to perform live at UMF. Urban Music Fest produces 10,000 compilation CDs as promotional giveaways with artist info to further generate city wide buzz about the showcasing artist. UMF is definitely the place to perform if you are an emerging artist wanting to create a fan base and expand your market.
