The deadline is approaching to submit to Under the Radar, a quarterly indie music magazine that covers up and coming and emerging artists, as well as more established bands. Up to four tracks from Sonicbids artists will be selected for the Anticipated Albums of 2010 and Best New Artists for 2010 issue. Under the Radar reaches 155,000+ young and hip readers and is distributed throughout North America, Europe and elsewhere./n/nUnder the Radar is a quarterly indie music magazine that reaches 155,000+ young and hip readers and is distributed throughout North America, Europe and elsewhere.
Under the Radar is now taking submissions for its famous compilation digital. The sampler will make free downloads available to its 45,000 unique visitors per month and up to four tracks from Sonicbids will be Selected.
Under the Radar mainly covers indie rock and indie pop and is most interested in artists from those genres. Although most of its features are on indie rock bands, Under the Radar also has special subsections in the album reviews section devoted to Americana/alt-country, electronica, hip-hop, jazz, reissues, and singles/EPs. The magazine is also interested in shoegazing, space-rock, and soul groups. The magazine generally does not cover these genres: hardcore, metal, punk, hard rock, pop-punk, mainstream pop, smooth jazz, mainstream country, classical, blues, and new age.
