University of Central Florida (Spring 2009)

University of Central Florida located in Orlando is now accepting submissions for the Spring semester. The campus population contains 50,000 students.

They are accepting submissions for a large comedy show and concert event in the Spring. Each will take place at one of two arenas: one with a capacity of 1,800 and the other arena with a capacity of 5,000-8,000. Compensation is negotiable, and lodging can be provided. They will be looking to fill other performance slots throughout the year.

University of Central Florida is also accepting submissions of poetry and spoken word for their poetry slam called Java Jives.

They accept most college friendly music genres, as well as comedy, novelty, and poetry.
