Summary

The Student Program Board (SPB) at the University of Houston is looking mainly for local and regional acts for different events held at the university, but will also consider acts touring through the area.



Genres accepted include folk, soul, rock, blues, funk country, indie, pop, and any radio friendly genre. Submissions from comedians are also accepted. A PA system will be provided for all acts.



Some venues and events the university is looking to book are:

- University Center Satellite Series: 5 artists are booked per semester for this.

- Frontier Fiesta: A weekend long event with a professional stage, for which 5 bands will be booked.

- Submitting artists will also be used to fill slots for various events throughout the year.



The Student Program Board (SPB) at the University of Houston is a student fee-funded organization that provides activities for the university throughout the year. The university itself is situated on a 550-acre campus in Houston, Texas.
