Summary

The University of New England is a private university in Biddeford, Maine that is looking for local and regional artists, or performers already touring through the area, to come play on campus. A member of NACA, the university holds approximately one concert per month from September through May, and features a total of four or five artists each semester.

The Hang Committee is a student run organization that provides programs almost every Thursday night rotating between comedy, music, and karaoke. They also have a Spring Concert, held in April, which has a main music stage with a BBQ, prizes, and other games and novelties. Dates for musical events for the 2007-2008 school year are October 18, December 13, January 17, March 20, and April 24. The events are held in the Hang in the Campus Center on the Biddeford Campus.

Many genres are accepted, and compensation, travel and lodging can all be negotiated. Past performers have included Jason LeVasseur, Pete Kilpatrick, and Sidecar Radio.
