Summary
The Upbeat Cafe & Music Venue, located in Georgetown, KY is an intimate venue that supports local, regional and international music. We book not only for the Coffee House stage, but also for larger local venues. Normal booking takes place a minimum of one month in advance for the Coffee House, but a minimum of six months in advance for larger venues.
The Cafe is equipped with a full compliment of audio gear including a 32 input soundboard, 8 channels of gate/compression/limiter, effects, 3 channel floor monitors and provisions for adding artist's equipment. Other venue equipment will vary.
Total set lengths should be 2 hours minimum including a reasonable break or intermission.
Past performers have included Farewell June, The Battlefield Band, the everybodyfields, Bluegrass Parkway, Ben Sollee.
Compensation is dependent on the artists ability to draw an audience. We do not charge a cover. We will work with the artist, however, to promote the show in order to draw a crowd.
