The inaugural Up+Downtown Music and Art Festival is a multi-venue festival that celebrates independent music and art. The event is held Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13, 2013 in downtown Edmonton, Alberta.
Up+Downtown 2013 is being produced by the nonprofit organization Rain Shadow Productions Ltd. Established in October 2011, Rain Shadow Productions is based in Edmonton and dedicated to producing events that help strengthen appreciation for the arts throughout the province.
