2007 Urban Music Awards USA

Invincible Events is responsible for the World Fashion Awards, British Music Week and the prestigious Urban Music Awards held annually in UK, USA, Africa, Japan, France, & Caribbean.



The Urban Music Awards USA takes place on the 7th of July, 2007 at the prestigious Hammerstein Ballroom in New York city USA. 2,700 people attend the event although an estimated 14.5 million viewers will see the event through TV and internet. Sponsors include: Kickers, Imperial Dax, Myspace.com, Music Choice, Sonicbids, Footlocker and Invincible Magazine.



Genres include: R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Dance, Reggae, and Blues. To be considered, artists must be based in the US.



100 of the best artists from the thousands who enter this competition will be selected. All of the artists selected will automatically qualify for a VIP pass ($200 value) to the Urban Music Awards ceremony. Additionally, of those 100 artists, one winner will be announced and given a chance to perform live at the awards with an additional opportunity to collect a trophy for 'Best National Unsigned Act'. Other performers include Boyz II Men, Method Man, Rhymefest, Ray J and Jermaine Jackson.



No additional fees will be assessed to artists if selected, except for those artists wanting additional tickets for family, friends and fans to support them on the finals.



The panel of judges will include: Jordan Kensington (C.E.O, of Invincible Media Group, Urban Music Awards & British Music Week), Chris Mitchell (VP & Head of A&R of Invincible Media Group), Donald Brookes (C.E.O of Devine Ideas LLC) and Rachael Johnson (PR & Marketing, Invincible Media Group)



Other show nominees include: India Irie, Musiq Soulchild, Papoose, Lil Wayne, Danity Kane, Outkast, Kay Slay, Funkmaster Flex, Diddy, Sean Paul and more. The awards ceremony is bound to be hotter than hot this year!!!
