2009 USA4real Music Awards

USA4real is pleased to present the 3rd Annual USA4real Music Awards. They are seeking submissions for nomination in 8 different categories spanning rock, pop, hip-hop, and R&B. All submitting artists will also be considered for airplay on Upstream Radio. Deadline extended until November 27th for those artists having technical issues./n/nThe USA4Real Music Awards deadline has been extended to November 20th, 2009. USA4real is pleased to present the 3rd Annual USA4real Music Awards. Artists may submit their music for the following categories for this year’s show:

• 2009 Best Rock/Pop Newbee is an artist that is new to the USA4real community and has been accepted for Upstream Radio. Artists has a kick ass sound and shows talent early on in their career.


• 2009 Best Hip-Hop/R&B Newbee is an artist that is new to the USA4real community and has been accepted for Upstream Radio. Artist has multiple talents and show promise early on in their career.


• 2009 Best Live Performance is judged based on the artist’s ability to entertain on stage above and beyond what we can hear on their album.


• 2009 Most Promising Artist is chosen based on the "IT" factor. This artist possesses the total package: talent, marketability, and desire to be successful.


• 2009 Best Music Video is based upon overall artistic impression and the ability to convey a message using the visual medium in addition to the music itself to tell a story.
• 2009 Best Indie Rock/Pop Single of the Year is the song within the genre that inspires and catches the ears, hearts, and minds of the listener. Generous ratings from Upstream listeners never hurt and will help the cause.


• 2009 Best Indie Hip-Hop/R&B Single of the Year is the song within the genre that inspires and catches the ears, hearts, and minds of the listener. Generous ratings from Upstream listeners never hurt and will help the cause.


• 2009 Best Indie Rock/Pop Album of the Year will go to the artist within the genre that presents their music in one perfect collection from beginning to end.


• 2009 Best Indie Hip-Hop/R&B Album of the Year will go to the artist within the genre that presents their music in one perfect collection from beginning to end.

Even if an artist is not nominated, all artists will be considered to become a USA4real artist and receive Upstream Radio play. Artists may also be considered to play at the awards show at the Aqua Lounge in Beverly Hills, California. All artists that are accepted as USA4real Artist will have the opportunity to win the USA4Real Artist of the Year for 2010.


The nominees will be announced on December 2nd and the awards show is LIVE in Beverly Hills on December 10th. Artists are not required to be present at the event to win an award. Winners are chosen by a combination of Upstream Radio listener ratings and by a panel of music industry judges
