Under The Blue Moon Festival 2009

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to the Under the Blue Moon Festival. Every Wednesday night in August, 4 artists will compete in the Blue Moon Band Massacre. These 4 dark alternative bands will compete for a slot at the "Local Legends" gig nights at Under the Blue Moon Festival./n/nUnder The Blue Moon is a dark alternative festival held in Enmore/Newtown Sydney Australia. With everything from viking rituals, spells, potions, live music, street performers and live piercing shows. Under the Blue Moon has a little something for everyone.

Every Wednesday night in August, four artists will compete in the Blue Moon Band Massacre at the Sandringham Hotel. These 4 dark alternative bands will compete for a slot at the "Local Legends" gig nights at Under the Blue Moon Festival.

If selected, artists are expected to pre-sell a minimum of 15 tix to the Massacre night you are playing in. Tickets are only $5 dollars and can be sold to friends or fans. After the initial 15 tickets, every ticket your band pre-sells counts as a point towards your band’s the total score for the battle.

Each band will have 30 minutes. There is no accommodation or travel fees offered. Appropriate bands will be Goth/Metal/Industrial.

All artists must be available to perform at the "Local Legends" nights on either of the following dates:
