Valley Throwdown Battle of the Bands

Seismic Entertainment Presents: Valley Throwdown Battle of the Bands 2011 . The competition is open to any unsigned band of any genre who is either from or often performs in the Merrimack Valley. This Battle of the bands will feature 5 bands per night. If there is enough interest, there will be asecond round added prior to the finals. The bands will be required to play one intial round and reserve the finals night in the event they make it. Bands should be able to draw at least 15 people to each round./n/nSeismic Entertainment Presents: Valley Throwdown Battle of the Bands 2011 . The competition is open to any unsigned band of any genre who is either from or often performs in the Merrimack Valley. This Battle of the bands will feature 5 bands per night. If there is enough interest, there will be a second round added prior to the finals. The bands will be required to play one initial round and reserve the finals night in the event they make it. Bands should be able to draw at least 15 people to each round. This will be helpful to bands because crowd vote will be determined by fans who have paid for ballots to participate. Ballots will cost $4 in round one and $6 in the finals. There is no door charge, so essentially fans vote with their cover and who they came to see.

You must be available to perform at both rounds of the event

• The first round will be on Sept 17th @ The Chit Chat Lounge in Haverhill, MA


• The Finals will be held on Oct 21st @ The Claddagh in Lawrence, MA

Selected artists receive:

• The winner will receive a prize package worth over $1000


• Package includes : $250 gift certificate to Guitar Center,3 months booking and promotions package from Seismic Entertainment and a live appearance on "The Boston Pot Report" on UNregular Radio
  
• They will also have other great promotional opportunities

* All songs performed in the contest must be original compositions. Performing covers could cause your band to be disqualified.
