Summary
Following in the footsteps of the wildly popular and critically acclaimed event Toronto Arts & Fashion Week (once known as Toronto Alternative Fashion week), as well as Swatch London Alternative Fashion Week, Hawaii Alternative Fashion Week and Brooklyn Fashion Week, Vancouver Alternative Fashion Week(end) (VALT) will provide Vancouver's explosive fashion scene an alternative to Vancouver Fashion Week.
VALT is being held November 23-25th in the spectacular Ironworks venue in Vancouver's historic Gastown. The music showcase is for emerging, up-and-coming unsigned performing artists and bands. Genres accepted include everything from Rock to Pop, Jazz to Hip Hop, Folk to World and more.
VALT is looking for full bands, singer songwriters, and DJs.
Participating in the Vancouver Alternative Fashion Week(end) will provide you with exposure to fashion and music and art industry professionals who have the ability, connections and influence to help jump start your career.
Attending VALT will be several media professionals who will be writing about the event - making an impression could easily get your band/act mentioned in the press.
