VexFest 8

VexFest, an annual summer music festival in Youngstown, Ohio, is back again to offer a day of free music in downtown Youngstown. Each year, 8500 people attended the festival and 40-50 bands performed on four festival stages. The festival will feature local, regional, and national touring bands. VexFest began as primarily a hard-rock festival, but has since had rock, pop and hip-hop acts perform at the festival. There are 20 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists and bands to perform at the festival. Bands will not be compensated for this event, however they will be playing on an emerging artist stage.

This will be the 8th installment of the music and arts festival. On August 14, 2011, bands will perform downtown near West Federal Street in Youngstown. The festival will feature local, regional, and national touring bands. Past sponsors include the City of Youngstown and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
