Violet Femmes Vol 1 Compilation CD

RPW Records is a division of Magic Puddle Productions, who passionately support independent music and have been producing and promoting concerts and festivals for over 20 years.



RPW is pleased to announce the creation of the Violet Femmes compilation CD of original women’s music. Their goal is to showcase original music from the best emerging female artists on Sonicbids. Violet Femmes Vol. 1 will be distributed to radio, media and selected music press and industry leaders in the fall of 2007.



The CDs will also be available for sale on the RPW Records website, Amazon and CD Baby. A fall 2007 concert and a Violet Femmes Festival in summer of 2008 will feature selected artists. Musicians selected to participate on the CD will also be invited to perform at the Vancouver Violet Femmes CD release event. These events will showcase the artists and their songs. The Violet Femmes CD and all artists personal CDs will be on sale, allowing music lovers and fans to purchase them at the event.



In addition, all selected artists will receive 10 copies of the CD for their own use and also royalties for copies sold at our events and via the internet. This is the debut Violet Femmes CD, and a wonderful opportunity to get in at the beginning of an exciting project and benefit from the amazing distribution opportunities and industry recognition it will bring. Artists selected may also have their personal CDs distributed by RPW Records.



Submissions are open to all music genres.



There are 5 slots on the disc reserved for Sonicbids artists who will have participation fees waived!
