VividNUrban Magazine: Compilation Series

The VividNUrban Presents Compilation Series is an ongoing series of CD Compilations established to create connections and networking experiences amongst independent artists and expose the artists to audiences outside of their hometown. All artists selected for the compilation will be interviewed and featured on vividnurban.com. 5-7 slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists.



VividNUrban Magazine is a magazine built for the Urban individual; whether that individual is a musician, politician, teacher, athlete, doctor, etc. The mission is to educate, spark dialogue, and build the bridge between the gaps - social, economic, and generational.



VividNUrban is Las Vegas' premiere Urban Arts and Culture Magazine who through commentary and interviews hopes to establish relationships that will allow Vegas urbanites to explore collaboration opportunities in and out of the city.



The goal is to find not only beat makers and MCs but promoters, organizers, teachers and DJs. VividNURban hope to serve as the voice of its constituency and speak truth to power in ways that are not only entertaining and thought-provoking, but showcase the Vivid light that shines through the urban life.



The mixtape will be distributed by VividNUrban and available for download from vividnurban.com. The project will be marketed heavily through vividnurban.com, The University of Nevada Las Vegas, Hip Hop Congress, Hip Hop Journalism Association, myspace.com, facebook.com, and twitter. It is VividNUrban's hope that each artist selected will also market the mixtape through their individual networks to give all artists involved maximum exposure
