Summary
Lucid Blue Promotions' Vox Concert Series has been booking emerging indie musicians in the Central Wisconsin area since 2005. Vox events are held at the Chestnut Center for the Arts in Marshfield, WI currently with plans of moving into a permanent venue within the next 16 months. Chestnut Center has a capacity of 350.
Vox Concert Series is a monthly series of up and coming artists put on for the younger crowd and young at heart in the community to enjoy without having to go to a bar or travel 45 minutes to a larger community. Vox performances cover a variety of genres and will range from acoustic sets to full band shows! Original music is the focus of Vox events with a multitude of genres showcased.
Typical Vox event consists of a three act show with a local opener serving as draw for two other featured acts. Average set times range for featured acts from 45-70 minutes.
Quality JBL stack with a 16 channel Heath and Allen board and sound technician are provided. Artist must supply own amps and instruments. Sonicbids members are given preference when booking any slots.
Compensation is negotiable with a guaranteed wage commonly, but open for discussion on a per artist basis. Lodging and meals are also provided.
