The Waterfront Cafe (Jul-Oct '11)

Located in Chicago, The Waterfront Cafe sits on the shore of Lake Michigan and is a one-of-a-kind lakefront dining experience. The Waterfront Cafe features local and national artists on the patio stage Thursday through Sunday. Selected artists get:

• Artists will be compensated. A flat stipend fee of $60.00 provided for Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays entertainment – based on music between 8pm and 10pm. Compensation varies on other situations. All Performing Artists will be provided with a free meal either during their set break or after the performance. The stipend will be paid in the form of a business check on the night of performance.


• Artists will be provided with a free meal.


• A 2 hour set.


• A sound system, microphones, stands, and monitors will be provided at the venue, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any additional equipment. The stage is 12 x 16, lined with Tiki torches and the lake as the backdrop.
