Honky Tonk Tuesdays at Waterloo Ice House

They are seeking traditional country and Western swing acts for their weekly Honky Tonk Tuesdays music series.Artists are compensated with tips and a tab, but certain acts may also be offered 10% of sales for night./n/nNot only the perfect dining destination, Waterloo Ice House has also become a legendary live music venue. Started as a neighborhood spot in 1976, they now have eight locations around the Austin area. They are seeking traditional country and Western swing acts for their weekly Honky Tonk Tuesdays music series. This dance-themed event is taking place through June 2011 and features 1-3 bands each Tuesday from 9pm until midnight. Artists are compensated with tips and a tab, but certain acts may also be offered 10% of sales for night.

Waterloo Ice House has always supported the local Austin music scene, giving many talented artists the venue they need to share their music with a live audience. Over the last 30 years, dozens of now-famous acts (such as LYle Lovett and Uncle Walt's Band) have gotten their start at Waterloo Ice House. They feature 1-3 bands per night 7 nights a week from 7 until 10pm.

House sound system is available. Artists must coordinate sound engineer with venue and must provide their own instruments/amps.
