Summary

The Watermelon Festival is the granddaddy of all street festivals. More than 25 years of operation, average yearly attendance of over 110,000 and Three One One Productions is proud to produce this event. They've teamed with the Carytown Merchants Association to focus on the retailers and restaurants of this trend-setting area.



This event is the largest one day festival in Virginia. Over 100 vendors and exhibitors are involved. There are 10 stages spread out over a mile; 1 main stage (national acts) 9 local and emerging artist stages. While there is no compensation, artists can sell and keep 100% merchandise. This year's festival takes place in Richmond, VA on Sunday August 9, 2009.
