Summary
Water Taxi Beach is a seasonal business run by New York Water Taxi, with over 30,000 people coming through their gates last year. They are currently accepting submissions specifically for children's and family friendly music during Memorial Day Weekend, on May 24, 2008 at 1:00pm and/or May 26, 2008 at 2:00pm. Acts who have a wide audience appeal are encouraged to submit. Water Taxi Beach will post new dates as they arise. They prefer local and regional acts, but touring artists are welcome to apply as well.
Selected artist will be compensated with $250 for a 40 minute or longer set. A house speaker system, 3 mics, and one mic stand will be provided. There is no in house sound engineer. This is a strictly outdoor venue.
