Summary

Wayne Watts Music Publishing is aggressively looking to expand its roster over the next 12 months. They are looking for great songs by individual songwriters to add to their catalog for licensing deals with current clients. Wayne Watts Music is especially interested in singer/songwriter, rock, funk, hip hop, R&B, and similar genres.



Submit up to 3 of your best original, unpublished songs for review; if selected, you will receive a multi year songwriting contract with an advance between $250-$500. Additionally, artists will receive free studio time to record a 3-song demo at the Wayne Watts facility in Pennsylvania if needed. They have a staff of seasoned musicians, producers, and engineers that have been involved in the music biz for over 30 years and are they are all ready to assist selected artists on their projects!



Submitted songs will be reviewed by a committee of current writers and producers, which include Guy Robinson, Gary Kelly, Michael Thompson, and Ricky Rodriguez. Wayne A. Watts, President of Wayne Watts Music Publishing, will make all final decisions.



Wayne Watts Music Publishing is a music publisher affiliated with BMI, and has been placing music with major records labels and national recording artist since 1980 with their first title “Funky Lady Foxy Lady,” recorded by Slave on Atlantic/Cotillion Records.



Since their inception, Wayne Watts Music has licensed songs with labels such as EMI, Benson, Integrity, Dexterity, Hallmark, Sony, Atlantic, Evergreen, and Daystar just to name a few. Artists that have recorded works out of the Wayne Watts Music catalog include Slave, Bishop, TD Jakes & The Potter’s House Mass Choir, Donnie McClurkin, Richard Smallwood, Beverly Crawford, Guy Robinson & Friends, DK, The D.I.T Band, and Edwin Hawkins to name a few.
