The Opportunity

Surge Event is run by musicians for musicians. They book bands weekly and monthly at many of Hollywood’s top venues including The Viper Room, House of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe at Hollywood and Highland, Skinny’s Lounge, Amplify, Busby’s Mile High Club, Molly Malone’s, etc.

The 300-cap Sunset Strip Foundation Room provides a unique setting for entertaining. The walls are covered with woven panels of Gujarat fabric and members enjoy a fireside lounge, sacred prayer rooms, skyline views, elegant dining, and live entertainment for an unrivaled experience in Los Angeles.

The Band

  • Must be age 21+
  • Must be a local LA act
  • Music must have a positive message
  • All genres and styles welcome except hip hop and death metal
  • Rock, pop, alternative, indie, funk, neo soul and jazz genres work best at the House of Blues

The Gig

  • Backline provided; includes drum kit and bass amp
