Summary

Western Fairs Association has a membership of over 150 Fairs throughout the Western United States & Canada. These fairs collectively spend millions of dollars each year on entertainment. For an opportunity to grab some of these entertainment dollars, showcase your band at the 86th Annual Western Fairs Convention & Trade Show held on January 26th and 27th, 2009 in Reno, NV. A Western Fairs Association Showcase is the number one marketing tool for those entertainers looking to play their local, state, or surrounding fairs.




A Showcase is your 15 minute audition for fair entertainment buyers. Showcase performance fees range from $200 ‐ $600 and include the following:

  • One 15 minute performance
  • Your photo and contact information in the convention issue of WFA’s magazine the Fair Dealer
  • A link to your website on WFA’s website Showcase page along with your photo and contact information
  • On‐site promotional signage
  • WFA member Fair mailing labels
  • Performance support including: backline, concert quality sound, stage, lights, technicians, and video
  • Multiple networking opportunities including: convention registration, discounts on
    Showcase/Trade Show packages
  • An audience of buyers shopping for new entertainment for their fair including our Preferred Buyers (fairs who have committed to hiring at least one Showcase act to perform at their 2009 fair.

  • All submissions will be viewed and judged by a selection committee and winners will
    be notified no later than November 17, 2008. All genres are accepted this is a great conference for artists to showcase their talents to talent buyers from some of the best fairs in the western US and Canada.


    Please Note: This promoter will charge selected artists a performance fee ranging from $200-$600 to be able to perform a showcase for talent buyers at the convention.
