Summary

Western Fairs Association has a membership of over 150 Fairs throughout the Western United States & Canada. These fairs collectively spend millions of dollars each year on entertainment. For an opportunity to grab some of these entertainment dollars, showcase your band at the Annual Western Fairs Convention & Trade Show at Grand Sierra Resort, Reno January 20-23, 2013.

A WFA Showcase is THE marketing tool for those entertainers looking to play their local, state, and/or surrounding fairs. A showcase is your 15-minute audition for fair entertainment buyers. All genres of music are invited to submit their material for review. All submissions are reviewed by the Showcase Selection Committee representing fair entertainment buyers, fair CEO's, staff, board members, agents and musicians.

Submission deadline is October 26, 2012 and all acts will be notified by November 16, 2012.

Showcase performance fees are $650 and include the following: one 15 minute performance; your photo and contact information in the convention issue of our magazine the Fair Dealer; a link to your website on WFA's website showcase page along with your photo and contact information; on-site promotional signage; WFA member Fair mailing labels; backline; concert quality sound, stage, lights, technicians and a professional production manager; convention registration for you and your band is included but WFA provides no compensation and acts are responsible for their own travel, rooms and meals.

WFA encourages all acts to attend and participate in the convention and they offer multiple networking opportunities including: nightly receptions, seven hours of un-interrupted trade show time (discount packages are available for acts that showcase, become members and purchase a Trade Show booth) and they provide an audience of buyers shopping for new entertainment for their fair.
