"Wicked Talent" Competition Benefitting St. Judes Hospital

The Wicked Wolf Tavern is looking for talented solo musicians to battle it out on Monday nights where they will receive various prizes. Artists win the competition by accumulating votes throughout the night. Details:

• The competition is for solo musicians to come perform 2 songs, cover or original, 5 minutes or less.


• The first available night is September 6th, 2010. Bands will be considered until 2 weeks prior to the Monday in which they request. There is no deadline for contestants to sign up. However, there is a 20 contestant max per show


• Contestants don't win cash, they win cool prizes from sponsors that change each week. Sample include 2hrs studio time from Studio Be of North Haven, 8 races from On Track Karting of Wallingford, fishing trip for 2 on Candlewood Lake with Andy's Bass Fishing Charters, a cell phone from Pocket Wireless, and many more to come. Surprise gifts may also be available.


• Contestants pay $5 to sign up. They win the competition by accumulating votes throughout the night.


• Votes are $0.25 each and there is no limit as to how many times a person can vote. All voting money goes to St. Jude's.


• This event is 18+ to enter and 21+ to drink.
