Willie's big move will be on September 2nd, 2011 and will include a battle of the bands to help decide who will perform as a headliner at the Wiarton Willie Festival in Wiarton on February 1st-5th. We accept only Canadian acts of all genres for this competition in Bluewater Park in Wiarton,Ontario, Canada. This event is being held by the Wiarton and District Chamber of Commerce and will be judged by Event organizers and local business owners. The Wiarton Willie festival is an important part of Canadian groundhog's day, therefore there will be extensive press coverage. Past headliners include: April & Wine, 54-40, Big Rec, Honeymoon Suite and more
